7656 Davis Instruments Omni Antenna for Long Range Repeater

Description

The 7656 Davis Instruments Omni Antenna is for use with the 7654 Long-Range Repeater. Mix and match Omni and Yagi Antenna to extend the transmission range up to 1500m.

How it works:

• Connects to the 7654 Long Range Repeater to extend transmission distance.
• Each repeater requires two antennas: one to receive data and one to retransmit it
• Mix and match antenna to suit your situation. The two antenna (receiver-transmitter) could be any of the following configurations:Yagi-Yagi, Omni-Omni, Yagi-Omni or Omni-Yagi
• Omni antenna transmit or receive in all directions, in a 360 degree radiation pattern. They are suitable if you need to receive data from multiple stations.
• Yagi antennas transmit or receive from a single direction but have a longer transmission distance. The are suitable for transmitting data directly back to a single receiver.
