• The latest version has a new-look solar panel, but it can be retrofitted on any wireless Vantage Pro 2 sensor suite
• The solar panel can be years old and look the worst for wear but still function well and power your sensor suite without issue
• Customers sometimes contact us because they are having to replace the ISS backup battery on their Vantage Pro 2 sensor suite every few months and so they think a new solar panel is required. The issue is usually with the super capacitor rather than the solar panel.  We recommend getting in touch with us before purchasing to make sure you get the right part.
• If your solar panel looks pretty rough but everything is working fine, don’t worry – they keep working fine long after the old and scruffy stage sets in!
