Replacement switch assembly for VP2 tipping spoon

Description

Replacement part for the new tipping spoon found in both wireless and cabled Vantage Pro 2 (VP2) sensor suites and stand-alone Davis 6464M and 6466M rain gauges.

This is a user-replaceable unscrew, clip‐in‐plug‐in part available to replace the reed switch in the latest variant tipping spoon standard in VP2 sensor suites and stand alone rain gauges since 2019

7345.484 Davis Instruments Replacement Switch Assembly for tipping spoon, 0.5m cable

• 0.5m cable
• Can be retrofitted into any Davis Vantage Pro 2 sensor suite tipping spoon

7345.485 Davis Instruments Replacement Switch Assembly for tipping spoon, 12m cable

• Twelve metre cable
• Can be retrofitted into any Davis Instruments 6464M or 6466M rain gauge tipping spoon
• This is the same switch assembly as the 7345:484. The only difference between the two is the length of the cable

Why buy this?

• You have the latest version tipping spoon (black in colour, with a single fill then tip construction) in your rain gauge. Despite the rain cone being clear of spiders, ants and other debris, you are not getting any rain readings. All your other data (wind, temperature and humidity) readings are all coming through okay to your console/app.
