Davis Instruments VP2 Tipping Spoon Assembly

Description

Available in two options, the Davis Instruments Tipping Spoon Assembly is a replacement part for the Davis Instruments rain gauge found on the Vantage Pro 2 sensor suites or the stand alone rain gauge. This is the current design of the tipping spoon, introduced by Davis Instruments in 2019. Davis say it is even more accurate and robust than the previous version. Easy to install.

Choose between two options:

7345.147 Davis Instruments Tipping Spoon Assembly, 0.2mm, 0.5m cable

• Metric version, each tip is 0.2mm
• 0.5m cable
• Can be retrofitted into any Davis Vantage Pro 2 sensor suite

7345.439 Davis Instruments Tipping Spoon Assembly, 0.2mm, 12m cable

• Metric version, each tip is 0.2mm
• Twelve metre cable
• Can be retrofitted into any Davis 6463M, 6465M, 6464M or 6466M rain gauge
• This is the same tipping spoon assembly as the 7345.147: the only difference between the two is the length of the cable

Why buy this?

• You have the original tipping spoon (silver in colour, with a seesaw-like construction) in your rain gauge. Despite the rain cone being clear of spiders, ants and other debris, you are not getting any rain readings. Your wind, temperature and humidity readings are all coming through okay to your console/app.
• You want to upgrade your VP2 rain gauge with the latest Davis Instruments tipping spoon
