6316NZ Davis Instruments Wireless Weather Envoy

Description

The 6316NZ Davis Instruments Wireless Weather Envoy can be a useful addition to a wireless Davis system or as an alternative to a wireless Davis console. Like the legacy Davis consoles, it can receive data from a wireless sensor suite, a sensor transmitter and a soil station, and when used with a 6510USB WeatherLink Data logger or 6510SER WeatherLink serial interface, send data to your Windows PC computer or PLC/SCADA system.

Features:

• Receives transmission from up to 300m line of sight
• Built-in temperature & humidity sensor and barometer
• If using mounted outside in a shelter, you can replace the built-in temperature humidity sensor by plugging in (via RJ connector) an external 6475 stainless steel or 6477 plastic housing temperature probe. This probe can be used to measure the temperature of air, water or soil.

• To add to your existing Davis system. Use the Envoy with a data logger near your computer to free up your wireless console for use elsewhere in your house or business (within range)
• As an alternative to a wireless console. Combine with a 6510USB WeatherLink data logger to get the data from your wireless sensor suite to your Windows computer.
• Combine with a 6510SER WeatherLink Serial Interface and ModBus or BACnet gateway to get your weather data from your wireless sensor suite to your PLC (see our bundles below)
• To retransmit data from any Davis transmitter (up to 300m away line of sight) to another Davis Instruments receiver
• For a remote field installation. Install an Envoy in with a 6510USB WeatherLink data logger and visit periodically to download the data to your Windows laptop. If there is no power on site, the Envoy can be sheltered from the weather and powered by a 6614 Solar Power Kit or 6612 Heavy Duty Solar Power Kit
