6612 Davis Instruments Heavy Duty Solar Power Kit
$1,000.00 Inc. GST
An enclosure option for remote installations; to power and protect a Weather Envoy
Description
The Heavy Duty Solar Power Kit allows you to power and shelter your Weather Envoy for remote or field installations.
The kit consists of a solar panel, battery and charging circuit in a protective housing.
Why buy this?
- You have a remote site with no power or internet and want a cost effective way to gather weather data. Install a sensor suite with a Weather Envoy and USB data logger. Visit periodically to download the data onto your PC lap top.
Notes:
- Can be used with both the cabled and wireless Weather Envoy
- This power kit can power the legacy Vantage Vue or Vantage Pro 2 console, but does not have the space to install them. The 6618 Universal Shelter may be used
- The Heavy Duty Solar Power Kit is required to power cabled consoles and the cabled Weather Envoy, or wherever extra power is needed
- In low light or poor conditions, you may need the Heavy Duty Solar Power Kit to power wireless consoles or Envoys instead of the 6614 Solar Power Kit normally used
- Check out the Davis mounting options: 7716 Mounting Tripod or the 7717 Mounting Pole Kit
