$380.00 Inc. GST
Sensor for use with EnviroMonitor Node or Soil and Leaf Station
Description
The Leaf Wetness Sensor detects the presence of surface moisture on foliage and calculates the duration of wetness. It can be used for the detection of fog and dew conditions and the early detection of rainfall.
Why buy this?
- You are a gardener, a horticulturist or a farmer wanting information to help you make decisions around fungal and disease control, and the use of irrigation systems
For use with:
- Plug in to the 6345NZ Wireless Soil and Leaf Station to add it to a WeatherLink system with the 6100 WeatherLink Live or 6313 WeatherLink Console, or to a wireless Vantage Pro console
- Plug in to 6810 EnviroMonitor Node to include this sensor in an EnviroMonitor system
Additional information:
- The sensor is an artificial-leaf electrical-resistance type that consists of a sensing grid, low-voltage bi-polar excitation circuit, and conductivity-sensing circuit
- Connectivity is measured across the grid and the result displayed as a moisture level, scaled from 0 (completely dry) to 15 (saturated)
- The user may select the wetness threshold and above this, the moisture-hour totals are accumulated
- Attached mounting bracket to hold the sensor at 45° to permit run-off of excess moisture
- Uses a modular connector (RJ-11)
- 12m sensor cable
In the box:
- Sensor with attached mounting bracket
- Installation Hardware kit including U-bolts, etc
