The 6440 Watermark® soil moisture sensor
- Is an electrical resistance type sensor
- The electrical resistance reading from the sensor is converted into a calibrated reading of centibars of soil water suction
- Centibars range from 0 (wettest) to 200 (driest)
- Cable length is 4.6 metres
- Maximum cable length is just over 240 metres. If you need a longer cable, please contact us for a quote
- Two wire cable
- Comes with an instruction sheet on how to install
Use with:
- 6345NZ Soil Station in a WeatherLink system (with a 6100 WeatherLink Live or WeatherLink Console)
- 6345NZ Soil Station and a wireless Vantage Pro 2 original console
- 6810 EnviroMonitor Node as part of a cellular or IP EnviroMonitor system
