Description

The wireless Davis Instruments Vantage Pro 2 (VP2) bundles include a wireless Vantage Pro 2 integrated sensor suite (ISS) and a 6313 WeatherLink display console. The sensor suite transmits the weather data it collects wirelessly up to 300m line of sight. The WeatherLink console receives, saves, displays and analyses your data. Use as a stand alone, offline system if you wish. Alternatively, use your WiFi to upload your data to the Davis website, weatherlink.com and view online or on the WeatherLink app.

  • Tried and tested, the Vantage Pro 2 has been in production for almost 20 years
  • Now with the new WeatherLink console which combines the features of the original console with new abilities and analytical tools
  • Anemometer has a 12m cable so it can be mounted separately to the main sensor suite
  • There are a wide range of parts available for the VP2 ISS and we keep most of them in stock
  • The larger size and the shape of the Aerocone rain collector means a more accurate rain reading that the smaller Vantage Vue rain collector
How to use:
  • As a stand alone, offline, weather station OR
  • As an Internet-connected weather station uploading your data to the WeatherLink cloud, viewable on the Internet or your phone as well as your console
  • As the first part of a personalized WeatherLink network of sensors and up to eight sensor transmitters for your home, farm, orchard or business

  • Standard radiation shield
6263NZ bundle – 6328NZ Vantage Pro 2 sensor suite & 6313 WeatherLink console
  • Measures wind speed and direction, rain, temperature, humidity and barometric pressure + UV radiation, total solar radiation and potential evapotranspiration (ET rates)
  • 24-hour fan-aspirated radiation shield (FARS)
Which radiation shield  suits your site: the Standard or 24 hour Fan-Aspirated Radiation Screen (FARS)?

The purpose of the FARS unit is to regulate the sensor readings and maximise the sensor accuracy by circulating the air in the radiation shield around the temperature/humidity sensor. For most locations in New Zealand, nature kindly assists with this, so a standard radiation shield is enough.  A FARS unit on your ISS  can be a great piece of kit for situations where there is little wind and the temperature reading is important, such as inside a shelter belt on an orchard where there is little wind and lots of sun.

6323NZ wireless Vantage Pro 2 ISS with FARS

All the features of the 6322NZ ISS (above) PLUS:

  • 24-hour Fan-Aspirated Radiation Shield. The solar powered, motor-driven fan draws a constant airflow through the radiation shielded sensor chamber. At night, it runs on battery power, at a lower airflow rate.
